Our Mission
We are committed to fostering an inclusive society through community empowerment by providing accessible services that promote independence. While we offer direct practical support—such as cooking classes and independent living skills for sight loss—our goal is to ensure that every individual has the skills and environmental support necessary to lead a confident and dignified life.
Consultancy & Strategic Inclusion
We work across all levels of society to drive systemic change through our lived-experience led consultancy. We partner with organizations and businesses to identify accessibility gaps and implement inclusive strategies that prioritize co-design. Our efforts ensure that public and private spaces are functional and welcoming for everyone in the community.
Awareness & Professional Training
Education is the foundation of inclusion. We provide specialist training programs, including visual impairment (VI) training for professionals, designed for families, carers, and the wider community. By delivering high-quality awareness sessions, we equip society with the knowledge to understand diverse needs and the practical tools to offer better-informed support for all.
Specialist Advocacy: Congenital Toxoplasmosis UK
As part of our commitment to specialized representation, we have established a dedicated advocacy group specifically for those living with Congenital Toxoplasmosis. This group provides a vital space for members to connect, share experiences, and advocate for a holistic approach to their wellbeing.
Join the community: You can find our dedicated group on Facebook under Congenital Toxoplasmosis UK, where we continue to "connect the dots" between ocular health and systemic care.
